Tourism: Ghana Tourism Authority Hosts International Expo in Lagos to Boost Trade and Investment

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) is set to host the Ghana International Expo and Investment Forum in Lagos, Nigeria, from September 24-27, 2025. This event aims to showcase Ghana’s business potential, deepen tourism and trade ties, and attract cross-border investment, aligning with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) objectives.

The expo will feature of Ghanaians products and services across various sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, technology, and creative arts. It will also include investment forums, panel discussions on trade policy and financing, and networking sessions connecting Ghanaian and Nigerian businesses, investors, and policymakers. Ghana’s rich cultural heritage will be showcased through fashion, music, and arts, highlighting the country’s attractions.

GTA CEO Maame Efua Houadjeto emphasizes the events potential to position Ghanaian businesses as global players and strengthen economic ties with Nigeria and other countries. The expo is expected to drive economic growth, diversify Ghana’s exports, and stimulate investment in line with national development goals.
