However, Kuti recently stepped down as president of NIUK amidst allegations of financial mismanagement and secrecy surrounding the group’s operations. Despite his resignation, Kuti maintains that he is committed to the community’s success and has pledged to refund any stipends received.
The NIUK community has distanced itself from Kuti, clarifying that he no longer holds any position or authority within the organization. The group continues to thrive, with an interim leadership team overseeing its operations.
