BREAKING: Justice Prevails!

Saudi authorities release three Nigerian pilgrims wrongly arrested for alleged drug trafficking, thanks to relentless efforts by the Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and diplomatic support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government!

The freed pilgrims include Mrs Maryam Hussain Abdullahi, Mrs Abdullahi Bahijji Aminu, and Mr. Abdulhamid Saddieq. A syndicate at Kano’s Mallam Aminu International Airport tagged illicit drugs with their names, leading to their detention in Jeddah.

The release followed investigations revealing the trio’s innocence, with charges filed against the actual culprits, including Mohammed Ali Abubakar, a 55-year-old drug kingpin. Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa, NDLEA Chairman, praised Saudi counterparts for upholding their collaboration MoU and thanked President Tinubu’ for ensuring no Nigerian suffers unjustly abroad.
